[vtk-developers] VTK Widgets improvements

There is an effort in the 3D Slicer community to revisit the VTK widgets and
identify ways to improve them. If you look at these links:

you will see a lot of thought has already been done in this direction.
However, I'd like to hear any ideas that are not on this list. Hopefully we
can address these changes at some point, or at least gather ideas for future
implementation.
