Attached another patch which keeps the same API, but that compiles :).

Sample usage:

class vtkSomeClass : public vtkObject
 {
 public:
  ....
   void OnEvent()
    {
    cout << "Callback invoked" << endl;
    }
 };

void TestObserver()
 {
  vtkSomeOtherClass* object = vtkSomeOtherClass::New();
  vtkSomeClass* handler = vtkSomeClass::New();
  object->AddObserver<A>(vtkCommand::AnyEvent, handler, &vtkSomeClass::OnEvent);
  ..
 }
