[vtk-developers] Access cmake variables of VTK build from c++?

I was looking around in vtkTestUtilities.h and it looks like there are
functions to get VTK_DATA_ROOT from the environment variable or from
the -D command line argument, but is there a way to get it from the
cmake variable the user set when they built VTK?
