It won't be updated automatically anymore.  AFAIK no one ever used it
because an alternative to its original purpose (serialization) was
found at the time.

I'm looking for a volunteer to *remove* it from every class in both
VTK and ParaView.  It's only purpose is to implement the CollectRevisions
method, which is called only by vtkObjectBase::PrintRevisions.  We
can leave a legacy implementation of PrintRevisions that just returns
an empty string or version "1.1000" for every class or something
like that.
