[vtk-developers] Regexp selection

Hi,

I would like to propose adding regular expressions as a selection type (to
work similarly as threshold selection).  I would also like to propose using
boost_regexp as the implementation.  Which would mean adding regexp to the
boost components required in VTK.  And if boost is unavailable,
conditionally compiling out regexp selection.

Does anyone have suggestions or objections?
