Actually compared to keeping both the VTK and ParaView repositories up to date (redundantly compiling VTK in both), that sounds like an attractive option. Unfortunately ParaView doesn't seem to have that option... ;p

PrintSelf requires Tcl wrapping to be on to work.

So..... if you're interested in approximately (but not quite) doubling the time for a ParaView build, just turn on VTK tcl wrapping....

        This is one of my grumbles about ParaView Cmake config. Last time I checked it was not possible to setup the ParaView configuration so that the PrintSelf tests would be generated. (my development VTK is 'under' ParaView).

        If checked in a fix, but for the long term would be nice if ParaView could generate the PrintSelf tests.

        test otherPrint segfault because this->PassThroughStrategy is null when  vtkHierarchicalGraphView::PrintSelf() is called.
