[vtk-developers] [vtkusers] Mangled Mesa support

Hi all,
We (CEA, France) are internally maintaining mangled mesa for our VTK based application. If some people are still interested in mangled mesa, I'll contribute some tools (scripts) we developed to automate the creation of vtkMesa* classes from vtkOpenGL classes. We're using it every day and it works well.

PS: the use case you're describing is exactly the one we're facing, plus the need of switching from hardware to software rendering at run time.

Regards,
Thierry.

There might be a use case with an app running remotely on a cluster or
some big machine, showing remote OpenGL graphics, but also performing
some off-screen rendering, which would otherwise still be done across
the network connection. Or am I overlooking something?
