[vtk-developers] openRT support in VTK

I just noticed that there's now a noncommercial version of OpenRT available
( http://www.openrt.de/ ). For those of you who don't know, openRT is a
real-time Ray-Tracer that operates somewhat similarly to OpenGL, but offers
alot higher quality renderings.

Has there been any thought to implementing an openRT renderer in VTK? I
know it's not open-source, but seeing how you guys are implementing support
for FFMPeg in a similar "If you have it, we'll use it" kinda way, I thought
this might be something to look into.
