My plan is to move Sync Temp to be the default isosurfacer once I make a
minor change to it (removing degenerate triangles). We are not patenting it
although we have kept it as proprietary code. We will be changing the
copyright to be BSD on those SyncTemp classes. Marching cubes we will stick
in as soon as the patent expires (this summer). The other classes I'm
planning on just removing. Maybe we can put them into a tar file for folks
to download that want to use them. The patented issue has been a thorn in
our sides and other than isosurfacing it just isn't that critical for the
average user.
