Luca,

if it takes two to confirm, then it's confirmed:

Fatal: Exceeded memory limit for block Line number cache in module ....

Win2k, VTK cvs, CMake 2.2.0, shared libs ON,
build type Debug, Borland C++ 5.6.4

where do you submit/vote ???

Dean

Since yesterday I have with BCB6 and VTK from cvs repository a new
linker error:

Building shared library Z:/vtk.bin.dll.release/bin/vtkGraphics.dll...
Borland C++ 5.6.4 for Win32 Copyright (c) 1993, 2002 Borland
Turbo Incremental Link 5.66 Copyright (c) 1997-2002 Borland
Fatal: Exceeded memory limit for block Line number cache in module
Z:\VTK\Graphics\vtkGridSynchronizedTemplates3D.cxx

** error 1 ** deleting Z:\vtk.bin.dll.release\bin\vtkGraphics.dll

It seems to be another linker bug, probably due to DLL size. It happens
when compiling in Debug (and not with MinRelSize)
BCB5 compiles without any problem.

It is really nasty. I tried to submit bug reports to borland but seems
to be ignored.
It could be nice if all developers and users using bcb could vote or
submit theirs requests to make them solve them asap.
Thank you all

Luca
