[vtk-developers] VTK 5.0 deadline and Python GIL patch

Luca-

Good question. We are actively coordinating the rewrite of the VTK 
books with the VTK 5.0 software. This is part of my urgency, we've 
got to bring the documentation in synch with the state of the 
software, and the pipeline changes are first on the list. If all goes 
well we should have updated books out in the September/October time frame.
