On the ParaView dashboard we only show the ParaView part of coverage. 
That mean VTK is not taken into account for the ParaView dashboard. Thus 
unless your test is being executed on dash6 :

and the tests executed for this machine are:

(you can verify DistributedData is not executed).

Thus the coverage won't increase at least on this machine.
