Good morning
I have been having some trouble with vtkJavaParser.exe I am building
with repository checkout from 2 nights ago. I am using Windows XP pro
and Visual Studio .net (vc++ 7), on a dual pIII 750 with 256 MB of ram.
I am building with Java, Python, and Tcl bindings. ActiveTcl is
8.4.1.0, ActivePython install is 2.2.2, and Java is the 1.4.x SDK. I am
also building parallel with MPICH 1.2.5
The problem is that I get assertion errors constantly from
vtkJavaParser. The error line is "str != NULL" . Once the error dialog
pops up, selecting retry or ignore causes a critical error, and I guess
vtkJavaParser exits. Selecting Abort clears the dialog box. In all
cases, vc++ 7 continues to build. Is there something I did incorrectly?
Also, it seems that the build process is slower with vc++ 7 than 6.
Anyone have the same experience?
Thanks for any help you can offer.
Tony
