[vtk-developers] Link errors (Instantiators?)

Isn't some sort of custom command (DevStudio speak?) used to generate the Instantiator* files?

How are generated files re-generated?

I had the same problem. It would seem that the VC++ 6 dependency stuff is not that good.
I am also getting ESP errors. I think tonight I will delete the build tree and start over.
CMake does not do any dependency checking for MS project files, because it is supposed
to be done automatically. Even if we wanted to, there would be no place to put the
depend information in the dsp file.

I had a series of problems lately with link errors in building VTK. This in under VC++ 6. The
scenario seems to be after I do a cvs update (with a fairly lengthy time between updates).

I end up getting link errors for the standard libraries (Imaging, Rendering, etc.) with multiply
defined symbols. If I compile the Instantiator* files by hand I can then link fine.

So it looks to me that Instantiator files are either not being regenerated or they do not have a
dependency properly determined.
