On my system cmake detects the system clang of Xcode 5.1 and maverick

Somehow your build is not getting this detection.  For me in a modern xcode
system it works better to use the system cc/c++ rather than gcc/g++.

Do you have the system compiler in your path?  It is in mine.  That might
explain the difference.
