[Ves] Errors during VES building for iOS

Dear Aashish,

 

Thank you and Dave. Actually I decided to checkout next too. I just finished
building. It was very successful! So excited!

 

By the way, when I run Kiwi under Xcode, I got an error
'DropboxSDK/DropboxSDK.h' file not found. May I ask which version of Dropbox
I should download? And how to link Dropbox with Kiwi?

Actually I just realize that you need to checkout next: 

 

> git fetch --all -p

 

> git checkout --track origin/next 

 

or if already has checkout next

 

> git checkout next

 

> git reset --hard origin/next

I think the errors were resulted from Xcode version and Command Line Tools
release date. As far as I know, Xcode 4.3 cannot be opened on OSX 10.8.
Could you check again your detailed system version and Xcode version? And
when did you install Command Line Tools?

 

Or could you download the new Xcode 4.6.3 and install Command Line Tools
released recently and then compile VES again?

I know the problem not sure why its happening on your system though. These
files were helpful (the patch one) and look correct. One last file
hopefully. Can you send me this file from your build tree:
vtkFreeTypeConfig.h (Do a find on this find in the build).
