[Smtk-developers] Instantiators?

Hi all (but especially Yumin),

I've tried building SMTK against ParaView master recently and run into issues because VTK instantiators are broken (and deprecated) but smtk/extensions and smtk/bridge/discrete both force VTK_MAKE_INSTANTIATORS to ON. Is there any reason to force this? If not, I will remove this so things build properly.
