[Paraview] Utilizing Server GPU from an external command

Hi Chris,

Most operating systems have this restriction that unless a user is logged
in a display session will not be created.  What you probably want is
something like OSMesa (uses CPU rendering but requires no X session) or EGL
(I'm less familiar with this, but I think it lets you render without an X
session.  It is limited to some NVidia cards/drivers though).  VTK has
support for both of those options.  Alternatively you could set up a dummy
user with auto-login and then just use the video group like you mentioned.
