[Paraview] size limit to loading annotated but file 4095 time steps

Hi all

We are using paraview to visualise a time series corresponding to propagation of a voltage waveform in a 2D domain.

Data is a .vtu file annotated with time points. Total series is >10,000 time steps. All confirmed as being annotated correctly

When we load into paraview (5.2), only the first 4095 time steps are imported.

Any ideas why this might be? Is there some sort of 12 bit limit being imposed somewhere? Any workarounds people can suggest?
