[Paraview] PEARC17 Visualization Contest

ATTENTION PARAVIEW USERS!

The PEARC17 Visualization Contest and Showcase submission deadline is May
1! This exhibition is a chance for researchers to demonstrate the current
discoveries that are being revealed through High Performance Computing.

Accepted submissions will be included in the PEARC17 proceedings and
displayed during the conference.  A visualization showcase and panel will
be held where the researchers will be able to discuss the science behind
their work, and the tools used to create it. Submissions will be voted upon
with a chosen winner to be announced at the end of the conference.

Submissions need to include a movie file up to 250MB in size and a short
paper (no more than 3 pages including references) that


   1.

   Describes the key observables illustrated in the movie
   2.

   Explains how this visualization enhances the scientific process
   3.

   Explains what tools, techniques, and resources were used to produce the
   final product


PEARC17 is the successor to the yearly XSEDE conference held by the NSF.
It will take place in New Orleans, July 9-13, 2017, and is open to
professionals and students in advanced research computing.
