[Paraview] Question on how to stretch a line to form a surface

Hello, I plot one curved line in paraview(2D), and want to stretch it along the normal direction to form a surface(3D), I have tried the transform and warp by scalar filters but both seem fail to accomplish this task. I wonder whether paraview can do this?
