[Paraview] plot min/max/average of a variable in all cells/point of a block over time?

I have a user that is trying to do the following.  What is the "best" way to do this?



Is there a method to plot the min/max/average value of a variable in a block(s) over time? Similar to the query functionality available in EnSight?
