[Paraview] How do you make a plot of a variable at an X, Y, Z location?

>From class today, you said you would be able to look into how to take a profile of a dataset by entering x,y,z coordinates to get data from nearest cell or node (e.g. if you want a boundary layer profile by sampling velocity in a vertical direction from a wall at a certain x location in the streamwise direction - assume 2D and flow is traveling in the +x direction and +y is away from the wall where the "wall" is at y=0).
