[Paraview] Bulk conversion

I am trying to convert multiple *.vtk files to *.stl files.  Basically an
object sequence (ie: surface_0001.vtk, surface_0002.vtk, etc...) Is there a
way to automate this with Python.  I've looked and looked and I can't find
a way to do this.  Please help.
