[Paraview] Scalar bar modifications

Hi all,

a colleague of mine is trying modify the scalar bar according to his 
preferences, and though he is almost there, there are two questions left 
open:

1. Is it possible to influence or remove the minor tick marks? He has 
not found any option to do that.

2. Why are the tick labels 'labels', whereas the min-max-values are 
'annotations'? The question arose, because he wanted to change the 
numerical format, which is no problem for the labels, but he had to set 
an explicit string for the min-max-values, which is not very convenient.

He is using Paraview 4.1.
