[Paraview] Slice on arbitrary surface

Dear Paraview users,

How can I create a 'slice' with an arbitrary surface?

My input file is in .case format (Ensight Gold) exported from StarCCM+.

I would like to visualize the solution on a surface within the domain
defined in STL or VTK format. The surface is not necessarily planar.

Is it possible to do this?
