[Paraview] paraview performance

Hi, 
  Is there a rendering model that you have for testing the performance of the paraview?
I have install paraview on our GPU cluster and would like validated it someway other than
just putting timing calls around the Render command in the parallelSphere.py script.
 
Or is that sufficient?
