[Paraview] Feature request - Need more detailed control of generating nodal quantities from element results

A question from a user.  I believe that answer is correct to the first bullet, and the answer is no to the second bullet?


1 - Averaging a nodal result from surrounding elements is OK as long as the node is within a homogenous body.  This process is not correct for nodes on the boundary between two different materials.
2 - Is there a process to extrapolate element integration point quantities (stresses, strains) to nodes for elements with non-linear shape functions?
