[Paraview] paraview use multi-core?

I found that when I enable "Use Multi_Core" in the settings and restart
paraview,one of my cpu is 100% used,but I have not done anything.If I set "
Number of Cores to Use" to 4,both of my cpus is 100% used.I think it is
crazy.WHat does this mean?
