[Paraview] how to place landmarks in a VTK StructuredPoints volumetric image

Hello Paraview Users,

I am able to open and correctly view a vtkStructuredPoints volumetric
image, created from DICOM images, in paraview. Is it possible to place
landmarks, or points, on this  VTK volume in paraview? I am trying to
register a polygon to this volumetric image, and need to place landmarks on
the volume. Any help or guidance would be really appreciated.
