[Paraview] Paraview tar archive

Hello,

I am trying to install Paraview from the Linux 64bit binary, but there  
are symbolic links embedded in the tar archive that prevent the  
archive extraction from completing. I did not have the same extraction  
problem with the 32 bit version (but I do need the 64 bit version).  
Can you advise?
