[Paraview] Cannot find Map Scalars

Hi

I build an example with a simple polygon containing 4 pts and here it works as expected. Seems for me that I have an error in my reader plugin which I wrote....

Map Scalars should do the trick. Can you send me a sample dataset to reproduce the issue?

So i tried MapScalars but it doesn't do what i expected. May you can tell me what I am making wrong:

I have a vtkPolyData with Points (and Polycells) in it
Then I have a data array of type unsigned char[3] with same size as points which are referring to the color

But I cannot set the visualization in a way that it uses those entries, I can only select "Magnitude, X, Y and Z", Map Scalars seem to map only the magnitude through a colormap.....

Any hints?

Click on the "Toggle advanced properties" button to see all properties and you will see Map Scalar. You can also search for the property name in the search field. Refer to http://www.kitware.com/blog/home/post/491 for more information.
