[Paraview] How to label cell or point by variable value in Paraview 4.0?

I just tried with 4.0.1 linux-64bit binaries and I cannot reproduce
the problem. Are you sure you're loading all the variables you're
interested in from the "Properties" panel for the Exodus reader? Do
you have a sample dataset to reproduce this problem?
