Although you did ask for Select Cells Through (which creates a frustrum for the selection), you can also do Select Cells On (Selects visible cells, on the surface). Then, using <CTRL>-<CLICK>, you will append the new selections to the old ones. This does not work for Select Cells Through.

Hi Marios,
I'm not sure how to add more cells in the one "Select Cells Through" option - One solution could be to select your first cell with Select Cells Through, then apply the "Extract Selection" filter. Re-select the original data set in the pipeline browser by clicking the eye, then repeat this for each other cell you want. At the end you can select each extracted selection in the pipeline browser (using shift+click) and then apply the "Append Datasets" filter. It seems you can then apply filters to this set that apply to all your extracted data.
Kind Regards,
Tim

Hi,

I am a new user of Paraview and I want to ask a simple question about the selection. I have import my model and I want to select graphically some cells that are not close to each other. I am using the "Select Cells Through" button and I select the first cell then when I select the the second cell, the first cell deselected automatically. Is there any way to add or subtract cells to an existing selection using the graphic interface?

Thank you in advance

Marios
