[Paraview] 2D elevation grid to VTK format

Hello everyone,

I have 2D elevation data and I want to convert it into vtk text file to
load it to Paraview. I want to load just the required information. I think
this is called Uniform Rectilinear 2D grid maybe in VTK. I do not want to
include each and every x y z points as we just need this to be somewhere in
header. in the body, I have z data only and sometime attributes.

I appreciate if someone can provide simple example for this 2D grid.
