[Paraview] Fwd: Error to calculate vorticity with ParaView

I just checked with Gradient of Unstructured data set and it is working
fine with an analytic velocity field. Are you using a 2D or 3D grid? How
big are the differences? I would assume the difference is in how the
gradients are computed.
You can try using the Calculator filter to create a field like
"coordsY*kHat+coordsZ*iHat+coordsY*iHat" which should result in a vorticity
field of {1, 1, -1}. That's what I get for the output of both the Gradient
of Unstructured DataSet and Compute Derivatives.
