[Paraview] RegionIDs can't be zero, coprocessing error?

Hello ParaView,

I'm getting the following error about RegionIds from  a paraview coprocessing application when I use mpiexec with -np >1

ERROR: In /home/mvanmoer/builds/ParaView/ParaView-3.14.1-Source/ParaViewCore/VTKExtensions/vtkKdTreeGenerator.cxx, line 168
vtkKdTreeGenerator (0x5998290): RegionIDs cannot be 0.

It then produces an incorrect image, but doesn't crash. This is a gcc/mpich2 build of ParaView. The application uses fortran and the 2decomp_fft library to partition the mesh. Do I need to make the coprocessor aware that the mesh has already been partitioned? Is it trying to repartition the mesh?
