[Paraview] selected points change when clip plane changes

I see that here too. All the way back to 3.8. I may be thinking about
3.4. A workaround is to save the output of the extract selection
filter and load it back in as a new dataset.

Yes, but is a very deep change.

The global ids filter is meant to help with this sort of thing, as
those ids do not change arbitrarily across filters. But I can't seem
to get that to help this situation though.
