[Paraview] texture map to a sphere

How do you texture map an image to a sphere?  Could someone give me an example - the one I tried did not work.  I tried the following:
Local server, Windows, 3.14.0
Sources/ Mandelbrot
Filters/ Texture map to a sphere.

Nothing happens.  Is this a bug?
