Can't check because it built with glibc 2.14 but my system (debian testing) has 
2.13:
$ ~/ParaView-3.98.0-RC2-Linux-64bit/bin/paraview
~/ParaView-3.98.0-RC2-Linux-64bit/lib/paraview-3.98/paraview: /lib/x86_64-linux-
gnu/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.14' not found (required by ~/ParaView-3.98.0-
RC2-Linux-64bit/lib/paraview-3.98/libvtkpqApplicationComponents-pv3.98.so.1)
...

Is all new versions of PV will be built with glibc 2.14?
