[Paraview] Reading data directly from RS232 interface on UNIX/Windows

Hi,


I want to read and display data of an ADC in the range of 0-65535, which is to
be read from the RS232 interface on UNIX?Windows (/dev/ttyS<n>, COM-Port on
Windows) in ASCII-Format. The stream is multichanneled with about 250
values per second.

Is this possible and how?
