[Paraview] Bug 10999 not really fixed? (2d plot selection over time needs current time mark)

On Ubuntu 11.10, With Paraview 3.12 and 3.14 downloaded as a binary
(tar.gz), I dont see this feature. Does it need to be enabled somehow?
Its supposed to be added since last year.

Have tried own vtu files and can.ex2 (attached screenshot)
