Is there any downside to hard coding it to some bigger number, such as 12 digits? That should be safe and trivial, shouldn't it?

Let me know, and I will write up bug reports.

The precision is currently hard coded I would recommend submitting a bug that the precision become a user controlled variable.

I have a user that is trying to write a spreadsheet to a .csv file. Although the spreadsheet displays (and can display) a large number of significant digits, when this is written to a .CSV file the precision is pretty poor.

Is there a way to increase the precision of the data in a .CSV file?

To replicate, just open wavelet, display in a spreadsheet file, change the spreadsheet file to have more precision than 6 characters, and File/Export this to a .csv file. The .csv file holds only 6 characters of precision for each variable.
