[Paraview] 2D slices from 3d surface image.

Hi, 

 

I am using paraview 3.10 and am trying to load a 3Dimensional IMG-HDR file
or SDT-SPR file. I would like to see the 2D slices of the 3D image, I find
that the slice part on the left hand side is not visible for these file
types.

 

Could someone tell me how to load 2D slices of a 3d Surface? Does Paraview
support loading a 2D slice image at all.?
