[Paraview] infovis in paraview

Not one in particular, but I have a project coming up which would benefit from various treeviews and graphlike views (the stuff that's more InfoVis than traditional vis). I thought I'd play with the infovis stuff in paraview to see what was available, but when I looked I discovered that it was gone.
I am now looking at the Titan Project slides from vis08 to refresh my memory of what was available.
In short. Will any of this make it back to paraview or is it all being developed in a way that is incompatible with paraview's views/representations etc?

Did the old InfoVis plugins get dropped permanently. I see a commit from some time ago that shows they were removed.
Will they ever be revived?
