[Paraview] Text Sources in 2D Render Views

Michael,

No - Paraview won't display text on top of a 2D rendered view.  This sounds like very useful functionality - I wrote up a feature request in the bug tracker.

It does not seem to be possible to display text annotations on top of 2D Render Views.  Am I missing something?  If not I think this would be a very useful feature.
