[Paraview] library file not including why?

this is the error i am getting:
[ 33%] Built target FilteringCxxTests

ls in /opt/sgi/mpt/mpt-1.23/lib gives:

libmpi++abi1002.so  libmpi_mt.so  libmpi.so  libmpi++.so  libsma.so
libxmpi.so

why is it not able to find when i am explicitly giving it as option? Please
help.
