[Paraview] RE Tube as Point Sprite

Hi Jean-Francois,

I do not know of a reprensentation using textures for lines similar to the 
point sprite. 
But if the problem is lighting the lines, you could try the 
EyeDomeLigthing view, which works fine for dense lines has you seem to 
have.
You will have to activate it at compile time 
(PARAVIEW_BUILD_PLUGIN_EyeDomeLighting ON) and load it at run time. After 
that, you can create a new View (Render View + Eye Dome Lighting).

[Paraview] Tube as Point Sprite







Hi all,

  I use the tube filter to visualize a mesh, it is really convinient for 
me because with the lines the render is not really fine.
You can see the difference from the two attached files

Now, I have a mesh with 4 millions of segments and it is quasi impossible 
to use the tube.

Therefore, I would like to know if it exists a tube filter under shape of 
texture like the point sprite ?
