[Paraview] extracting the surface between filters

Hi,

After some more digging around this problem, it seems that it only shows 
up for quadratic cells.
It might be related to the recent evolution I saw where the wireframe 
representation of quadratic cells are not triangulated anymore (which is 
nice!).
Are there quadratic cells in any test file (in ParaViewData) so that I can 
try to reproduce it with it?

I cannot replicate that behavior.  I’ve tried loading the ParaView data 
files bluntfin, disk_out_ref, and RectGrid2.  I’ve tried them on the 
current git pull, 3.8.0-RC1, and 3.8.0-RC2.  It works as expected every 
time.
