[Paraview] Paraview: python script from the command line

Is there a way to startup paraview and have it run a python script from 
the command line?   I know that I can load a state with the "--state" 
flag.    And, I can run a python script from within ParaView by going to 
the python tool and running the script.     As far as I can tell, I'm 
limited to running the python script after ParaView GUI starts up.    It 
would be nice to be able to load that same script from the command line.
